You know that deadly spot on Fade Street called The R.A.G.E where you can buy vinyls, vintage games, and consoles? Well, the masterminds behind it have just opened your new favourite spot - yes, we're calling it - and it's called Token. Token will be a mixture of retro gaming, arcade fun and lots of food!
via HazelCoonaghPhotographyOpening on Monday, Token offers lovers of gaming a new retro experience will include all your favourite arcade game from your 90s childhood. Some of the arcade games you'll find in Token will include:
- Donkey Kong
- Pac-Man
- Space Invaders
- Tekken Tag Tournament
- Street Fighter 2
- Mortal Kombat 2

via HazelCoonaghPhotographyToken's menu includes a variety of burgers, tacos, hot dogs, salads, all of which will have vegan options including a dessert known as "flowerpot" and vegan chilli fries. Check out the full menu here. Token are asking that people book in advance before they come down to the venue. You can book online here. FYI for the next month, they will only be selling beer and wine while they wait for their full liquor license.
More than anything this venue is a restaurant that offers people a fun dining experience which does not always have to include alcohol. An inclusive space for everybody is what Token is aiming for and we're dying to try it out!
