Gardaí in Co Clare have made an appeal for assistance from the public over teenager Jack Dinan, who has been missing since yesterday.
The 19-year-old is thought to be possibly armed and in possession of a green rucksack. His family are pleading for him to contact home, with Gardaí asking the public to pass on any information that may help with determining his wherabouts. However, they are advising people not to approach him. A Garda spokesperson said:
He may be in possession of a green rucksack. Jack is believed to be armed and the public are asked not to approach him, but should contact Gardaí at Ennis Garda Station on 065 6848100 or the emergency numbers 999 or 112.

Jack is said to be about 6ft tall, with dark hair and slim build. He was wearing grey hoody and grey spot camouflaged jacket when he left home yesterday. Gardaí are currently carrying out searches in the Ennis area but if anyone has any information which may be helpful they can contact the local station.
