The Guardian Have Wrongly Cut Out A Chunk Of Ireland From Their Brexit Front Page

This is just wrong on so many levels. Today the Guardian front page featured a very smart image of a jigsaw puzzle map of Europe with the caption, 'Today Britain steps into the unknown.'

Although this cover is quite ingenious and has been widely praised, Irish people haven't been so happy about it for one big reason – it's taken Donegal, Wicklow, Leitrim and Cavan and even some Dundalk with it. Now lads, you can do whatever you want up North, but you can't be chopping off some of the Republic with you, it's bad manners.

If that wasn't bad enough, it looks like a little slice of Down won't be leaving the EU at all. Naturally, the Irish Twitter-verse were quick to notice the huge boo-boo in the early hours of this morning;

Many people were taken aback by the news they would be leaving the EU in such short notice
