The lyrics "It's a long hot summer and it's 95 degrees in the shade" is all we've been thinking about since the Beast from the East and storm *insert name here* have been bashing against our window panes.
Well, it looks like our luck is about to change this weekend as the weather is set to turn hot, hot, hot and be hotter than Lisbon and even Madrid.
Now we're not going to lie - it's going to be 15 degrees, which may seem like nothing. Don't let that perturb you. 15 degrees is basically the tropics after the miserable and freezing temperatures we've had to endure for the last several months. Here's what you can expect over the weekend so, start planning:
Friday
A wet day, Friday will see scattered showers all over the country. Sunny spells will begin in the south-east and spread north overnight. Highest temperatures will range from 10 to 13 degrees.
Saturday
Thanks to a warm breeze from Spain, temperatures will raise up to 15 degrees. Sunny spells will sweep the country until Saturday night when temperatures will dip again. There may be a chance of thunder on Saturday night.

Like Saturday, sunny spells will persist throughout the day. However, heavy, slow moving showers will begin in the evening with temperatures rising to as high as 15 degrees.
I don't know about you but I'm starting to really think about this global warming craic.
