Ever since multiple sexual assault and harassment accusations were made against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein back in October, other reports regarding sexual assault and misconduct allegations made against celebrities have dominated media headlines. The last scandal emerged Thurday in The New York Times which revealed that comedian Louis CK has been accused of sexual misconduct by five different women.
In separate incidents, Louis CK allegedly asked the women if he could masturbate in front of them, or did so without their consent. When contacted, his agent declined to comment on the claims.
Unsurprisingly, famous faces have taken to Twitter to air their views on the story.

For everybody asking, I know and like Louis C.K. I won't defend him. This is inexcusable and he needs to address it. https://t.co/wyA5ImeDO7

In light of the recent allegations, HBO dropped Louis CK from their upcoming Night of Too Many Stars benefit concert last night and pulled his past projects from its On Demand services.
The New York premiere of the actor's upcoming film, I Love You, Daddy, was cancelled before it was scheduled to begin yesterday. Following the publication of the The Times story, the film's distributor The Orchard released a statement:
In light of the allegations concerning Louis CK referenced New York Times, we are canceling tonight’s premiere of I Love You, Daddy. There is never a place for the behavior detailed in these allegations. As a result, we are giving careful consideration to the timing and release of the film and continuing to review the situation.
Shortly before the story broke in The Times, Louis CK pulled out of an appearance on Stephen Colbert's The Late Show.
