Students Drank So Much Alcohol At Party That Air In The House Registered On Breathalyser

Most us, at some stage, have been at a party that's gotten a bit out of hand. No doubt, a group of University students in Maryland woke up with whopping hangovers after having the mother of all blow outs.

They drank so much alcohol that air inside the house registered on a breathalyser, according to police.

In a fairness, when around 70 people attend a fraternity party called "tequila Tuesday," you know it's not going to end well.

Neighbours called police to the house in Bethesda, an upscale neighbourhood, complaining of late-night music.

According to The New York Post, six alleged occupants of the rented house have been charged with allowing underage possession of alcohol and furnishing alcohol to a minor, and they they each face fines of $315,000, as cited by court documents.

Eight students are said to have locked themselves in a bathroom and one person reportedly jumped out a second-story window to avoid being caught by police.

When police arrived at the scene, the floors were layered with booze, and there were bin bags and empty cans and bottles strewn everywhere.

The party took place in mid-November and party goers are reported to have said they would never go to another frat party again.
