An Irish College Graduate Has Gone Missing In Australia

An Irish tourist who arrived in Sydney last month, has been confirmed as missing.

New South Wales police shared details of 25-year old, Craig Lambe, on Facebook. Craig went missing yesterday (Dec 11) afternoon. The statement reads:

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a tourist who was last seen at Kingsford yesterday.

Officers from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command received information about 9.30am today (Tuesday 12 December 2017), following concerns for the welfare of an Irish National visiting the country.

Craig Lambe, aged 25, was last seen leaving a home on Middle Street, Kingsford about 12.30pm yesterday (Monday 11 December 2017).

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall with a medium build and brown hair.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to this behaviour being out of character.

Police also shared this photo of Craig, who spent four weeks in Thailand after departing from Dublin for Sydney:

It is believed that Craig, who had been looking for work in Sydney doesn't have access to money or a mobile phone.

His cousin, Karen Lambe, told The Australian that he had been on his way to the local bank when he disappeared.

He had lost his bank card and told his friend he was going to sort things out at the bank. He’s sensible and kind. This is very out of character for him and we are all very worried.

Anyone with knowledge of Craig's whereabouts are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
