It's some seriously bleak times... it's the darkest of days: there's a spinach and courgette shortage. You may have noticed that the most important grocery items have been MIA this week, and it's no coincidence because we're actually feeling the effects of a seriously #spinachdrought and #courgettecrisis.

This deeply upsetting news has made its way to Reddit where Irish men and women are sharing their frustrations at this severe inconvenience.

Redditor yogi_frog asked "Anybody else notice the spinach drought? Can anyone shed any light on the matter" and apparently, it's bad weather in Spain and Italy:
