If you didn't realise your bin/fence/body had fallen over this morning from the enormous gusts of wind, then let us be the ones to break it to you: there's a ferocious storm in our midst... Storm Doris, affectionately henceforth known as Storm Doris Day.
It's been a turbulent morning in parts of the country as people battled with wind, rain and chilly temperatures. The reaction has been a mix of annoyed and surprised, mainly due to a range of transport services being cancelled or delayed.
What we know so far is 56,000 homes without power and some bus and train services have been delayed or cancelled.
