Here's How You Can Participate In Strike4Repeal Even If You Can't Strike

Today is International Women's Day and that means helping to forge a better working world, and a more inclusive, gender equal world. How can we do that? By striking for Repeal the 8th today. But let's be realistic: not everyone can strike for a variety of reasons, so you might be wondering how you can participate in the strike. We've got all the details of Strike4Repeal Ireland here for you, so every woman can get a chance to stand up for abortion rights.

The idea is that you can go along to a meeting place near you to send a message to the Irish government that they must call a referendum to repeal the 8th Amendment. You're encouraged to bring along placards, banners and anything that makes noise. The schedule in Dublin is as follows:
10:30am- Department of Justice
11:00am- Department of the Taoiseach
11:30am- Department of Health
12:30pm- O'Connell Bridge

"The main thing you can do, is attend a strike near you, says the official Facebook page of the Repeal. "Go on your lunch, or show your solidarity by covering someone else while they participate".

Here are the regional meeting places:
