It's been the question on every Simpsons fan's lips, the fact that 16 years ago the popular TV show predicted that Trump would run for president.
In Monday's episode the show subtly responded in the opening scene to which Bart writes, ' Being right sucks'.
The show is referring back to the episode from 2000 entitled, 'Bart to the Future', in which Lisa becomes the first female president, following Donald Trump.

The episode scarily even predicted what type of election poster, including font and colour scheme Trump would subsequently use for his real election campaign.
It just goes to show, whatever the Simpsons says, goes.
