Air Canada has announced they are expanding their services in Dublin while also launching two new routes between the countries.

Benjamin Smith, the President of Passenger Airlines at Air Canada wrote on their website:
Beginning summer 2018, we will capitalize on the growing traffic between Canada and Ireland and launch two new routes to Ireland, Toronto to Shannon and Montreal to Dublin.
Along with these new services, Air Canada is also enhancing its non-stop Toronto-Dublin service by increasing weekly frequencies to four from three, including daily service next summer.
Below are the new services announced on by the airline. They will be on sale from September 19 and commence operation in June 2018.
- AC820 - Toronto 22:00 to Shannon 9:30 + 1 day - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday
- AC821 - Shannon 10:30 to Toronto 12:45 - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
- AC818 - Montreal 21:15 to Dublin 8:25 + 1 day - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
- AC819 - Dublin 10:20 to Montreal 12:00 - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday
At the moment, Air Canada has 14 flights a week from Dublin to Toronto and Vancouver.
