Jones' impassioned speech perfectly summarises the terrifying atmosphere that minorities are currently enduring in the US in the wake of this result. His term for the electoral result; a 'White Lash', is in his view, a retaliation from bigoted white voters against an increasingly equal and diverse US a white lash against a black president.
Jone's is a prominent political activist and served as an advisor to President Obama,
