Whether you're looking for a weekend with the BFF's or a chilled weekend with the other half, there is a destination for everyone. For a cheap and cheerful getaway for the sesh, you can fly to Glasgow, Liverpool or Newcastle for as little as €12.98. That's cheaper than the bus to Galway, an absolute bargain. I have trailed and tested a night out in each of these destinations and I can confirm that they are friendly on your bank balance but not on your liver.
If the recent wintery conditions have you feeling like your Vitamin D levels are dangerously low, then maybe somewhere with a bit more sun might be more up your street. You can travel to Lisbon for a little as € 24.47 one way, or Barcelona for € 24.99 or Malaga for € 28.99.
