When You Aren't That Into Someone

Sometimes you meet people that can really drive you wild. You have an amazing time whenever you are with them and they stay in your head continuously after. Other people....not so much. You can't think of a single reason not to like them but there just isn't any fire between you. So instead of wasting your time and theirs here's a little checklist to help you see whether to get serious or leave it up now.

1. It's easy to forget to text them back.

When you are really into someone you watch the phone every second until you get a reply but with this person you casually check it every now and then. Sometimes you read the message and forget to text back then and there, next thing you know it's 9 hours later.

2. You don't make time to see them.

Ehhhhhh I kinda want to watch Game of Thrones. I'll catch you some other time, yeah?

3. Reply just to keep it going in case you do actually want to get serious.

You're completely leading them on and you know it but...maybe you'll start to get more into them soon? Maybe?

4. You prioritize everything else.

Pints with the lads or go to their house? Sleep in or go meet them? Tough choices but it tells you exactly what you need to know about keeping this going?

5. They're usually the last person you think to meet.

When all your other plans fall through that's when you text to see what they are doing.

6. There's other people in your head.

You'd much rather be going to dinner with the 9/10 waitress that's serving you. On a date other women should be the last thing on your mind, gotta focus guys.

7. You get a little freak out when things start to look serious.

They talking about how much fun they had last night and they're ALREADY looking to meet up again? 'Fuck calm down, you look desperate'.

8. It's been going on for ages.

Seriously if it's been more than a month and you haven't made some kind of a commitment or at least plan to then for both of your sakes it's easier to just break it off, plus you won't feel guilty when you ask the waitress out.
