Bromances are WAY better than romances. Period. Your inside jokes, similar interests and hobbies, and unspoken love for your best friend is more than you've ever had with a girlfriend. Let's face it, if your bro had a vagina, you'd probably break it in.
6. When you have a girlfriend you want to be single, but when you're single you want a girlfriend.
You just can't win. You don't know WHAT you want! You're happy to be in a relationship at first, then when the novelty quickly vanishes you look at your friends with jealousy and envy. But when you're single and all your friends are tied down and there's nobody to hang out with, ALL you can think about is how much you wish you had a girlfriend again.

5. Getting laid requires SO much more effort.
Hard work, preparation, determination, planning and confidence are the 5 tools you need to get laid. And even at that, you're never guaranteed to get the ride on a night out. When you had a girlfriend you had sex on tap, but now you've got to go out and fend for yourself, like a baby tiger sent out into the wild. It takes a while to rediscover your claws after your lenghty relationship, but you'll get there.
4. Blue balls.
Crude. Harsh. But very true. You can only not have sex for so long before you get a rabid diagnosis of blue balls! Every man's worst nightmare. Who knew there was an ACTUAL physical sign that you're not getting any?

3. Seeing your friends all loved up.
Having to watch your friends engage in their boyfriend-girlfriend cutesy, loved-up behaviour around you is thoroughly vomit-inducing!
2. Refusing to settle.
You are enjoying the single life, even though being a man whore is getting a little tiresome. You've found a couple of girls who you thought would make an alright girlfriend but you are holding out for that number 10. Refusing to settle is a huge reason why men stay single, but that eventually fades if you're unfortunate enough to find that 10!
