Cast Of Derry Girls Set To Appear On The Late Late Show Tonight!

I feel that I am approaching a tipping point, a tipping point whereby my old job title, that of 'purveyor of perfunctory online media content', has become redundant. It is no longer a true reflection of what I do, of how I fill my days, I feel that, almost without realising it I have become part of the promotional machine to create hype around the impending release of the second season of Derry Girls. Without even meaning to I have become a cog in their grand machinations, for it seems that every second piece of perfunctory online media content which I have penned over the last several weeks has concerned Derry Girls and its imminent return.

As such, I will begin to invoice the creators, and production team, of Derry Girls in search of remuneration for my efforts. I fully expect my pleas to fall on deaf ears however and oh, how they will rue the day they decided to ignore my demands. For then I will summon the full might of the litigious powers available to me; I will take them to the Small Claims Court where dubious claims to remuneration will be heard. I will, having given a cursory look over several WikiHows relating to the law and legal self-representation, serve as my own counsel.

Until that day however, I will continue to bring you news here of all ensuing development concerning the impending release of the second season of the fantastic Derry Girls. Nicola Coughlan released a teaser trailer for the first episode of the new series, which will debut on Channel 4 next Tuesday at 9:15pm.

Now, it has been announced that the cast of Derry Girls are set to appear on The Late Late Show tonight. Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Louisa Harland, Nicola Coughlan, Jamie-Lee O'Donnell and Dylan Llewellyn will appear on the show to discuss how they've dealt with the massive success of the show, as well to give audiences a brief taste of what we can expect from the new season.

The Late Late Show will air tonight on RTÉ at 9:35pm.

Lovely Stuff.
