Electric Picnic Ticket Holders Are In For A B*witching Treat

Not only does Electric Picnic have one of the best lineups of Irish festivals this year, the annual throwback stage will be headlined by none other than '90s Irish icons B*witched.

The foursome, who had four number ones back in the '90s, will be celebrating over 20 years in the business it makes sense for the group to be the headliners of the Throwback Stage.

It's 20 years since Edele, Keavy, Lindsay, and Sinead performed 'C'est La Vie' on The Late Late Show, the song that brought the band worldwide success. Speaking on the announcement, B*witched said they're looking forward to breaking out the double denim:

We are so excited to headline Electric Ireland’s Throwback Stage at Electric Picnic. It’s always brilliant to come back to Ireland and play to a home crowd.

We are really looking forward to breaking out the double denim and having the absolute craic. Rain or shine, it’s going to be an amazing day, and there’s more great acts to be announced. ‘C’est La Vie’ is like our baby so we’d love see it being brought back.

If you're lucky enough to hold an EP ticket then go play 'Rollercoaster', 'Blame It On The Weatherman' and 'Jessie Hold On' on repeat. If you haven't got a ticket, it looks like the gals will need to go on a national tour. A number of Irish fans online are devastated that they won't get the chance to see them without tickets to the festival:
