"Not this shite again!" is the usual response to the soaps being on the telly. Soap deaths, depending on the actor, are done off screen, with a massive accident or, when they are done on screen, awful. Who can forget the time Tricia Dingle was killed by lightning after it hit a building and then the building hit her (this stuff doesn't have to make sense) in Emmerdale?
The end is nigh for one character in Coronation Street. Nick Tilsley - Gail Platt's son - looks like he's about to bow out of Corrie in possibly one of the worst soap deaths we've ever seen. Leanne Battersby, Nicks soap wife, seems to be at the centre of the chaos. She married Nick twice, married Peter Barlow AND has a child with Steve Mc Donald! Nick's last moments revolve around Leanne's past flames and they all look at breaking point...well, Steve always does look a bit too stressed, doesn't he?
Leanne tells Nick he's causing lots of trouble which results in him ending up in 'quick sand' or a 'swamp' and we doubt she really cares - she'll probably just marry Norris!
