Badly Drawn Boy, Cork

Check out this gig on Friday, 20 October. You'll be treated to great tunes from the talented and creative Damon Gough whose repertoire includes film soundtracks like the hugely popular About A Boy. Doors open at 7.30pm and gig starts at 8pm.

Afternoon Tea By The Lee, Cork

Spot of afternoon tea anyone? For tea with a twist, check out this event by the Lee as part of Taste of Cork Week. Gorge on some West Cork potter crab (is there any other kind?), spiced beef sliders and Rebel Chili chocolate truffles. Wash it all down with some Kinsale Gin & Tonic. Takes place on Sunday, 22 October, 2-5pm.

Spooky Sunset Hike, Cork

Kick off Halloween early this year by hiking the summit of Galtymore, one of Ireland's highest summits. The hike is said to be challenging but not too strenuous - 2-9pm on Saturday, 21 October.

Daft As Punk, Dublin

If you're a fan of Daft Punk, this is one to put on your list for the weekend. The excellent tribute band are performing on Friday, 20 October in The Button Factory and will be doing a spin on Daft Punk's famous 2007 Alive Tour. One more time..

Delicious Food Tour, Dublin

Ever done a pub crawl? Think of this as the same but with no pubs and more food. Eat your way around all the best food spots in Dublin (local no touristy stuff) on Saturday, 21 October. This is a 3.5 hour tour and goes on from 10.45am-14.15pm.

90s kids will love this! DJ Jazzy Jeff is an award winning hip hop genius who is famous for starring in Fresh Prince of Bel Air so fans will be treated to the best of music nostalgia. It's on Saturday 21, October, 11pm if you wanna Sh-Shake The Room.

If you like live music, look no further. Little Hours who have just released their EP are no stranger to performing at festivals including Electric Picnic. These guys will be playing at Monroe's on Friday, 20 October at 8pm.
