"The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina" Cancelled by Netflix After Two Seasons

Unfortunately for The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina fans, Netflix has announced that the show will be coming to an end later this year.

In a statement to TVLine showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said that he was thankful to everyone who he had worked with on the show and that he couldn’t wait for fans to see the fourth and final part of the show.

"The cast, beginning with Kiernan as everyone’s favourite teen witch, has been an absolute joy. I am beyond thankful to the crew, writers, editors, assistants, and everyone for pouring so much love into this dark dream of a show. I’m also grateful to our partners at Netflix, Warner Bros., Berlanti Television, and Archie Comics for letting us tell the story we wanted to tell, the way we wanted to tell it. We can’t wait for everyone to see Part Four,” he said.

According to Aguirre-Sacasa, the final season of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will air on Netflix this fall.

According to Digital Spy, Netflix has released a synopsis for part four:

"The Eldritch Terrors descend upon Greendale. The coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one (The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness to name a few), all leading up to… The Void, which is the End of All Things."

"As the witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick begins to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina's heart, but will it be too late?"

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina originally aired in 2018 and was developed as a companion series to Riverdale.

The show is the latest Netflix series to come to an end with the streaming service also announcing final seasons of shows such as Ozark, The Kominsky Method, and Dead to Me.
