Here's When The Young Offenders Christmas Special Will Be On The Telly

After what feels like a year off our screens, Conor and Jock are returning with a bang this Christmas season.

According to the BBC, the Cork natives will be on the pulse of Irish issues by living out a homeless crisis.  During Christmas week Conor, Jock, and Mairead face eviction from the council. The situation has resulted in national media attention and everyone is on edge.

On top of all this, Mairead is in hospital, a place Conor and Jock hate. Mairead reveals she'd love to see a white Christmas and the pair set off on their usual journey to make her wish come true.

It'll be the perfect way to end the year after a high for Irish comedy with YO and Derry Girls; both critically acclaimed and a hit with Irish audiences.

While there's no word when RTÉ will screen the special, the BBC will air The Young Offenders Christmas episode on December 14.
