Nowadays men walk around in some pretty dodgy looking clothing, from skinny jeans and tie dye tees to the shortest shorts imaginable. No doubt we're going to look back in maybe 10 years time and think... Where did we go wrong? The 00's was a time when many of us made horrific fashion faux pas, from which there's no coming back.
Here are 9 of the worst fashion mistakes men made in the 00s, we're all guilty of a few of these!
Crocs
Was and forever will be one of the worst things to ever happen to men's fashion and fashion in general. A Faux Pa of the highest order, whatever you do, never wear these! No matter how comfortable people say they are.
Von Dutch
Young stars like Justin Timberlake and Ashton Kutcher made the trucker hat famous, Von Dutch the most ludicrously overpriced and stupid looking hats ever... What were we thinkin? Facepalm.
Ed Hardy
Tattoo artist Ed Hardy could never have imagined how much his name came into disrepute over his allegiance with Fashion house Christian Audigier and its awfully gaudy creations. Made popular by the cast of Jersey Shore, the Ed Hardy tee should forever be banished from our memories.
Abercrombie
The South Dublin teens hoodie of choice. Pretty much everyone had their mum, auntie, granny or cousin from America ship one over to them, until of course Abercrombie opened in Dublin, Ah only 8 years too late.
Livestrong Bands
5 euro for a band raising money for Lance Armstrong's charity Livestrong. 80 million were sold around the world so it was almost guaranteed you had one.
O'Neills
Teamed with a t shirt and a hoodie, these tracky Bs were a staple of casual wear amongst D4 heads.
Air Max
The staple of every man woman and child's attire in the early 00's. The Nike Air Max started off as an inner city favourite but eventually branched out to other demographics of Irish society.
Flowery Shorts
There is a 90% chance that a pair of these is lurking somewhere in your closet. Seems like every single Irish man wore a pair of these awful things on holidays and I even saw a few pairs lurking around on holidays this summer. The shame!
The Faux Hawk
The envy of every man, David Beckham made the dreadful Fauxhawk the hairstyle of the decade, haters gonna hate but there's no denying he looked great. Pity everyone else didn't.
