We've all experienced that dreaded *rip* sound during the most inconvenient of times. Whether you're stepping out of a taxi or bopping on the dance floor there's nothing worse than knowing your clothes are literally falling apart at the seams.
A Cork students fears came to light when she realised the back of her jumpsuit was coming apart as she danced away at Tiptop, a Cork nightclub. The zip broke sometime during her night out and she and her friends had to evacuate into the cloakroom area.
In a Facebook post, Méabh described how the staff managed to patch her dress together with plasters and duck tape so she could avoid returning home.The student wrote a note on Tiptops page and thanked them for helping her through the ordeal.
Thankfully, the moment didn't ruin Méabh's night as the efforts of the Tiptop team secured the dress enough for her to continue dancing into the night. On the Facebook post she wrote:
We proceeded to enjoy the band on the first floor, and despite my best efforts, it was blatantly obvious things weren't going well. After they had finished, a member of the band came to my aid and I quote ''I could see you were struggling'', before he kindly handed my friend some masking tape to help the situation. Again, extremely grateful!!Please find the finished product below.I am much obliged - keep doing what you're doing!!
