It may be October but the fall-out from the antics of Irish fans at Euro 2016 continues. In the latest 'French girl looking to contact random Irishman' alert, Rita from Lyon needs to chat to Cormac.
Writing in the COYBIG fans forum, Rita reassures this Cormac that he needn't worry but 'I'm trying to contact him about an important matter.'
The story of their meeting is right up there with anything even the best Hollywood scriptwriter could muster:
'Early in the morning (around 1 am) on the 27th June 2016 the night after the game France - Ireland.'
'We met while the crowd [in La Place du Change] was singing "Don't take me home, which they continued to sing for at least 10 minutes. He had lost his friends.'
The details of what happened that fateful night in Lyon are unclear but if Cormac, or any of his friends are reading this, Rita can be contacted at [email protected].
Perhaps this is true love or perhaps she's just trying to return large inflatable hammer she took from him. I for one, cannot wait to find out more.
