With Electric Picnic on the horizon, I have compiled a list to ensure you will remain looking glam all weekend. Remaining bright eyed and bushy tailed whilst camping for 3 days in the rain is a mean feat but I am hoping to come out victorious while I embark on my first festival foray since I was a wee one. I’ll keep you all posted!
1. John Frieda 3 Day Straight Semi-Permanent Styling Spray-I did a test run of this product over the weekend and I am pleased to report that it does exactly what it say on the tin. The time spent blowdrying my hair was cut in half which was an added bonus and kept my hair tame in torrential rain. This is perfect for hair with a bit of frizz just make sure to only use a few sprays at it can weigh down hair.
2. Essence Dry Drops-I can’t live without these! Perfect for topping up nail polish over the weekend, there won’t be any smudges in sight post-paint.
3. Sudocrem Skin Care Cream-This mini tube will be a lifesaver for anything from cuts and grazes (or welly burn) to treating spots!
4. Soap and Glory Hand Maid-This is the holy grail of hand sanitizers, smells like Chanel perfume and is perfect for washing hands after a trip to the porta-loo.
5. Makeup Wipes-Usually I would not encourage the use of makeup wipes but if there is a time for them it is a festival!
6.Essence perfume-A recent product pick of mine, the price of these lovelies means that if you lose a bottle it won’t be the end of the world. The handbag sized bottles are perfect for throwing in your rucksack and ensuring you smell like a flower while you troop around in the mud.
7. Garnier BB Cream-This foolproof wonder product is ideal for easy application and waking up tired skin!
8. John Frieda Luxurious Volume Anytime Volume Refresher-This is an amazing dry shampoo which gives a serious amount of lift. Once I’m on day 2 or 3 hair I use it to add volume to the ends of my hair to create a full topknot.
9. He-Shi Daily Moisturiser-I am loving He-Shi at the moment and this product gives a natural colour which is easily topped up and long lasting. This will make sure streaky legs won’t make an appearance if you begin using it in the days leading up to the festival and will give you a great glow all weekend.
10. La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water-This may seem a bit ridiculous but this handy can of spring water is amazing for washing your face on the go and getting rid of mud!
