You wouldn't go to hospital expecting Michelin Star-level cuisine, sterling silver cutlery and a personal butler. But you might, at least, expect to be fed some grub that will nourish you and help you get better.
Because, y'know, getting better is the entire point of hospital.
But this photo, posted on Twitter today by Alanna Kennedy, shows that even that basic requirement remains unfulfilled at St Vincent's.
'Given to a patient who is IMMUNE SUPPRESSED'
Lunch @ St Vincents University Hospital. Given to a patient who is IMMUNE SUPPRESSED. Utterly disgraceful & no wonder I'm not getting well! pic.twitter.com/p3xkc3BPnu

Honestly, how could anyone deem this fit for human consumption?
Seriously. Let's take a close-up look there
The reaction on Twitter has been suitably infuriated
One user even said they "wouldn't feed that to a pigeon".
