So What’s The Fuss With The New Maximo Park Album?

1. Maximo Park go from noughties Brit-rock to The Smiths to 80’s kitsch on new album, Too Much Information..

2.    It’s been a bumpy ride for the band since 2005’s hit album, A Certain Trigger and the wonderfully infectious song, ‘Apply Some Pressure’, but things are looking up again....

3.  Drummer Tom English’s ex-girlfriend found the band their frontman, Paul Smith, when she heard him singing along to Stevie Wonder’s ‘Superstition’

4. Upcoming single, ‘Brain Cells’ will make you want to dance like a knee-capped gorilla, check out the dude in the video’s moves….

5.  Lead singer Paul Smith apparently looks like Jay from The Inbetweeners dad, two cheeky chappies if ever we saw them...make up your own mind...

6. The band are currently on their European tour, and playing in Whelans in Dublin on the 28th of February, but hurry, tickets are going to sell quickly..

7. Don’t want to buy a concert poster or t-shirt? To coincide with the tour, the band are going to be selling their own bottled beer, Maximo No.5, which was made in a Newcastle brewery, tasty..
