WWE Summerslam Preview!

SummerSlam is the second biggest annual event that the WWE puts on and this year does not look like it will disappoint. With six matches confirmed for this Sunday I am going to take you through each one and give my predictions for who will be walking away the victor.

John Cena (c) vs. Daniel Bryan - WWE Championship

Most people will be assuming that Cena will walk away with the title but don't count on it. Bryan has been on fire for months now and is over with the fans more than anyone in the company right now. As well as Bryan's hot streak, Cena himself is reportedly taking time off following SummerSlam as he has suffered an elbow injury that may require surgery. Look for Bryan to win the match with the potential for Orton to cash in the briefcase.

Winner - Daniel Bryan

CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar - "The Best" versus "The Beast"

In the most highly anticipated match on the card, Punk goes one-on-one with Brock Lesnar, with Paul Heyman at ringside. After turning on Punk at Money In The Bank last month, Heyman has been using Brock to attack Punk relentlessly on Raw. Many are assuming that Punk will be getting his revenge on Heyman at SummerSlam, and while he may hurt Heyman at the event, Lesnar will come away with the victory at the end of the night.

Winner - Brock Lesnar

Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Christian - World Heavyweight Championship

The run up to this match has had Christian getting one over on the champion at nearly every show. Christian appears as if he can't lose, making it appear that this is his last shot to win the big one, so naturally Christian will lose. There is no talk of Christian leaving the company so the "one more match" angle has no real merit. Alberto Del Rio will win but the chances of this being Christian's last match are slim.

Winner - Alberto Del Rio

Kane vs. Bray Wyatt - Ring Of Fire Match

With the 'Ring of Fire' stipulation being added to this match, it would appear that the advantage is in Kane's corner but with this being Bray Wyatt's PPV debut he will come out of this match the victor. As well as being his debut match Kane is also taking time off to film a new WWE movie so look for him to lose spectacularly that will give him an excuse to be off TV for a while.

Winner - Bray Wyatt

Dolph Ziggler & Kaitlyn vs. AJ Lee & Big E Langston - Mixed Tag Match

This match has been building for a while. With the inevitable Ziggler baby face turn, a match pitting him against AJ Lee in some capacity was an inevitability. As well as that, Lee and Kaitlyn have given the women's division some credibility again so her inclusion in this match is also a plus. Ziggler/Kaitlyn will come away with the win because it will allow Ziggler a chance to focus on the World Heavyweight Championship again as well as giving Kaitlyn some vengeance over Lee without having to give her the title.

Winners - Dolph Ziggler & Kaitlyn

Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow

In a match billed as 'friend versus friend', this match came about after Rhodes was screwed out of winning the 'Money in the Bank' match last month by Sandow. Many will be expecting Sandow to take the victory because of his recent victory, but I predict that Rhodes will win it which will allow him to build on the momentum he started building at the MITB PPV.

Winner - Cody Rhodes

**Look for the McMahons and Triple H to have a big presence at this PPV as they are looking to be heavily involved in the company right up until Wrestlemania XXX.
