'You Are Not My Friend': Kim Cattrall Hits Out At Sarah Jessica Parker

Rumours of a feud between Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker have been circulating for years. But now, whispers have been solidified by an Instagram post shared by Cattrall in which she called her Sex and the City co star cruel after she sent condolences following the death of Cattrall's brother.

Cattrall’s brother Chris, 55 was found dead last week after going missing from his home in Canada. After announcing his death, the actress took to social media to thank her fans and her Sex and the City colleagues for support.

However, over the weekend Cattrall shared an Instagram message in which she called Parker cruel and accused her of exploiting the death of her brother in order to restore a 'nice girl' persona. She wrote:

Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven't already). You are not my family. You are not my friend.

Cattrall’s post linked to a New York Post article called Inside the mean girls culture that destroyed Sex and the City. It tells of an ongoing feud between the onscreen best friends and disputes over a third Sex and the City movie which Cattrall said she did not want to do.

Parker has yet to publicly respond to the comments.
