Watch: Aussie Guy Racks Up €440 Seafood Bill Then Jumps Into The Ocean To Avoid Paying

Seafood buffets are one of God's greatest gifts and worth every penny, though it appears not everyone thinks so. Terry Peck aka 2pec, did the funniest runner we've ever heard of. The aspiring Australian rapper ran away without paying for his epic €420 meal overnight and the story is hilarious.

The 33-year-old was caught red-handed when he refused to pay for his expensive seafood lunch, but instead of turning himself in, he did what any sane person would and jump into the ocean at Main Beach, on Queensland's Gold Coast. Why? Because it was "overpriced" and "overcooked". Fair play to you.

He was chased by staff before swimming 50m into the ocean but when lifeguards were unable to get him out of the sea, water police on a jetski had to get him out.

The Gold Coast Bulletin reports Terry was granted bail after he allegedly ate two lobsters, a baby octopus, 21 oyster shots and drank Coronas at the swanky Omeros Bros Seafood Restaurant at Main Beach on Sunday evening, worth $620AUD (€440), before fleeing.

Instead of apologising, Terry said the seafood restaurant should be saying sorry to him because the quality of the food was like prison food.

“There was oyster shell in the oyster and he (a staff member) said he was going to take care of the bill ...,” Peck said outside court.

“They should be apologising to me for the shell in the overpriced food.

“He said he was going to get the bill ... I told them to tell the chef it was overcooked.”

So why did he run if he thought the bill was taken care of? Apparently his friend phoned and said she was in labour.

“My friend was over the beach and she was having a baby on the beach,” Peck said. “Eventually police came and I went for a swim.

“I couldn’t find her and I was going to pay the bill if I found my wallet but I lost everything.”

A likely story.

Terry then told reporters he had invited the famous musician Eminem to come Down Under.

“I’m trying to rap battle Eminem at the moment but he won’t come down to Australia to have a go,” Peck said.

In court, Magistrate Joan White couldn't believe how much he'd eaten

“Oh God, by himself?”, she asked. Yep.
