The Late Late Show Will Host The First Debate On The 8th Referendum

Ireland's Eighth Amendment and May's referendum will be the highlight of Friday night's The Late Late Show. A debate between the Yes and No side will be the first major televised discussion on the referendum.

Representatives of the Together For Yes and LoveBoth campaigns will be in the studio to put their cases forward for the repeal or retention of Article 40.3.3 of the Constitution.

As usual for these debate-style versions of The Late Late Show, Ryan Tubridy will be joined by people who will tell their own personal stories around the issue. The debate will also include questions from invited members of The Late Late Show audience, from both sides of the referendum campaign.

Friday night's show will also include Grand National winner Davy Russell, actress, and singer Jessie Buckley will talk about her latest role in Judy - a biopic about Judy Garland, Debbie Mc Gee  - last season's stand out contestant on Strictly Come Dancing - will be talking about reaching the final with dazzling moves at 59.
