If you were hoping to make a quick escape from Dublin for the three day weekend, then you may be out of luck I'm afraid. A truck got stuck under a bridge on Amiens Street.

The incident happened at 1.10pm today and the emergency services are still at the scene preparing to remove the truck. Trains have now resumed between Connolly and Pearse but with strict speed restriction over Amiens St Bridge until further notice.
Expect delays.
