It Looks Like It Might Not Be A White Christmas In Ireland

Sad times.

It looks like it wont be a white Christmas this year, Ladbrokes have cut the odds that it will snow on Christmas morning across Ireland.

The odds in Ireland are 5/1, Belfast 3/1, and Knock and Shannon are 4/1. So it will be a shock if it does manage to snow this Christmas. Hayley O'Connor of Ladbrokes said: "Frosty weather has people dreaming of a white Christmas and interest in the betting has increased over the past couple of days.

However, the last time there was widespread snow in Ireland was back in 2010. According to Met Éireann, there was a record breaking 27cm of snow at Casement Aerodrome on Christmas day.

Well, to quote the Hunger Games, 'May the odds be ever in your favour.'
