Here at College Times we're always on the lookout for cool new Irish music. There's some amazing talent out there that is just waiting to be listened to. We're creating a Spotify playlist so you can listen to fresh Irish artists in a convenient little spot.
With everything from mellow pop to alt-rock, there's an Irish band or musician for everyone out there. So get on your headphones, make sure to give us a follow and to listen all the way through. We'll be adding to the playlist every week so keep those ears tuned.
1. FIELDS
FIELDS describe themselves as "an alternative-folk collective based out of Dublin". Their cheerful vocals and beautiful harmonies are the perfect addition to your bus journey.
2. Daithí
If you like Bonobo, you'll love this song. This Galway native can be found playing at MOTHER as well as a collection of other club nights and has seriously burst onto the scene lately with his atmospheric sounds and funky bassline.

The alternative/Indie band are back with their new song 'Kelly'. Expect drowsy vocals and feel-good beats.
4. Dermott Kennedy
Dermott's vocals are absolutely insane. His powerhouse voice and atmospheric melodies will leave you mesmerised.
5. LAOISE
This 20-year-old Galway native is already making a huge impression with over 9000 monthly listeners and she's only released music since March. Her haunting voice will leave you wanting more.
6. Le Galaxie

You probably know Le Galaxie from the festival circuit. Their an electro-pop foursome who's songs will have you bopping around like a maniac.
7. AE MAK
This super twosome can harmonise like no one else. Their single 'I Can Feel It In My Bones' is starting to take off, but 'I Walk' really shows off their shimmering vocals.
