After parting ways from the set of 'One Tree Hill' in 2012, the cast has teased at a brand new project that they're working on. After years and years of looking for clues of a reboot, the stars of the show, Danneel Ackles, Hilarie Burton, Robert Buckley, and Antwon Tanner are coming back together to create a Christmas special called 'The Christmas Contract' and we can't believe it!
The cast hinted at this new project by taking to their Instagram to tease at a reunion, with the caption 'Christmas 2018', but the posts were quickly taken down just to keep us on our toes. This reunion won't include the small town of Tree Hill, or even a high school reunion. This isn't a One Tree Hill reboot exactly, but all the best cast are working on a brand new project together - a Christmas special for Lifetime movies.
The movie is going to be centered around a couple Jolie and Foster (Peyton Sawyer and Hunter Burke from One Tree Hill) who break up at the beginning and have to return home to their mutual home town for the holidays, and Foster ends up bringing a new girlfriend back with him. Of course, Jolie doesn't take this well and her best friend Naomi (Rachel Gatina) offers her brother, Jack, as a fake boyfriend, who played Clay in One Tree Hill. Keeping up?
Naomi, draws up a 'Christmas contract' for both the participants of the relationship to sign, ensuring that they both get something out of the arrangement. If Jack acts as her boyfriend for the holidays, Jolie, a website designer, will design a website for Jacks latest Novel. Still Keeping up?
Of course, that's not the whole story and there's bound to be some holiday spirit and mistletoe that pops out of nowhere in an intimate one on one scene between the two, but we'll leave that to the directors.
So, that's the story. Not a One Tree Hill reunion exactly, but all of our favourites back on set together again!

The Christmas Contract is due to be released at the end of this year, just in time for Christmas.
