Feel The Burn: 23 Thoughts We All Have When Exercising

Exercising; something we all should be doing, but probably aren't. It takes a lot of effort to get up off the couch and actually do something with yourself, but when you do, the regret is usually instantaneous. Whether you're crazy or a slob like me, everyone can relate to these thoughts we all have when exercising:

1) Okay, okay. I'm gonna do it.

I'm gonna get off my ass and actually exercise. That Instagram fitness account has actually motivated me.

2) Well, got to get prepared first.

Where's that matching running outfit I bought? Ah there it is. With the tags still on. I'm gonna look hella cute.

3) Which playlist should I listen to?

I don't like the prepared ones on Spotify. Maybe I'll just make a new one really quickly.

4) Should I stretch?

I think I should stretch. I think that's what you're supposed to do.

5) THE BURN.

OH MY GOD I CAN'T TOUCH MY TOES OWOWOWOW.

6) Are my legs supposed to feel like this?

Because they're all tingly.

7) I'll start off with a slow jog.

This isn't too bad. Why haven't I done this before?

8) I think I feel a stitch coming on.

I'll just press down on it.

9) Getting a bit sweaty now too.

I can't hear through my earphones. Just run away...

12) It's getting a little hard to breathe.

In, out. In, out. *heaves massive breath*

14) I think I'm breathing loudly.

BUT I CAN'T STOP.

15) OKAY I need to take a break.

Dying.

17) I'll just lie here.

I regret this. How am I going to get back up?

18) I can't believe I ran for like twenty minutes there!

*checks time* Oh... It was only 6 minutes. I could have sworn it was longer...

19) I actually feel good.

I should do this more often.

20) I'm actually quite fit though.

I never realised this. 6 minutes! Amazing!

21) I'll rest up now and do it again tomorrow.

Need to make sure I don't overwork myself.

22) This would make a great selfie.

But I'll filter the shit out of it.

23) Nap time.

That was enough for today.
