The 7 Easiest Festival Hairstyles

Sorry Christmas, but festival season is the best time of the year. Live music, sunshine and a few tins; living the dream. Once you've secured your ticket, the only things you really have to deal with are what to wear and what in good f*ck to do with your hair. Well worry not, because we've scoured the internet in search of a few of the easiest and prettiest festival hairstyles you could rock while dancing the night away in a field.

1) The Flower Crown.

Quite literally involves going to Penneys, buying a flower crown and placing it on top of your locks. Simple as. A little tip: Looks great with unkempt hair so get backcombing.

2) The Fishtail Braid.

This one is great for any long-haired lasses. A nice twist on the classic braid and textured so it doesn't matter if your hair is grungy from sleeping in a tent for three days. Here's a quick how to guide.

3) The Messy Topknot

No muss, no fuss. This one is by far the best in terms of ease and it keeps those tendrils away from your face.

4) The High Ponytail.

Another one that's great for anyone with long hair who wants to keep it off their face. This one could not be easier and again, looks really good with a little bit of texture so don't worry about that greasy hair.

5) The Ponytail Braid.

Jazz up your boring old ponytail by adding a side braid - looks a lot better and exudes a hippy vibe.

6) The Halo Braid.

This one is gorgeous but a little bit tricky so we advise following this tutorial. The best thing about the halo braid is that you can wear it with your hair up or down, depending on your mood and how hot it is out!

7) The Waterfall Braid.

This one looks complicated but it's worth the work. Case in point, the picture above. It is incredibly pretty!
