An Post are out there every day, hail or shine, delivering the undeliverable, navigating country roads and decoding your nan's handwriting. They're heroes without capes and this latest story is one great example why.

We all know culchies don't live like us city folk. They don't need addresses, they simply whistle into the breeze or shout over their fence. They defy conventions like writing streets or house numbers, and instead write a letter about whatsherface.

Miraculously An Post got it delivered to the right person:

Nicole Lally from Ballymacward in Co. Galway revealed the inside of the card read, "Sure aren't An Post great - and they've proved it!"

She also shared a pic of the Postman of the Year, Celcius:

Best Christmas card ever.
