With regards to live music, this week is looking like an unreal line up.  Be it live DJ sets, alternative bands or pop acts, there is an array of amazing acts to go and see.  We picked out the biggest and best ones you don't want to miss this coming week...

Firstly and most importantly....

OKTOBERFEST 2013!

When?  All week!  Ending this Sunday, 6th of October.

Hurray!  It's that time of year again.  We're celebrating October the Bavarian way.  Enjoy good beers, traditional music, craft stalls with loads of tasty food.  Sunday to Wednesday its open 12 noon until 11 pm, and Thursday to Saturday it's open till 12.30 am.  Great place to have some chill out drinks during the day or head out for the night too.  And the best part about is, admission is free!  We advise you to get down early and avoid the queues though :)

The 1975

When?  Tonight, Monday 30th of September.
Where? The Academy, Middle Abbey Street.
If you're feeling the urge to watch some decent live music, alternative/indie rock band The 1975 will be playing a gig in The Academy.  After playing a knockout set at Electric Picnic, they've definitely gained themselves some loyal Irish fans, which is why it's no surprise that this gig sold out.  But if you were lucky enough to snatch tickets before they were gone, you can expect to hear the likes of this tune tonight;

When? Tuesday 1st October.
Where?  The o2, Dublin.
Bruno Mars has kindly decided to make a pitstop into lil ol Dublin while on his highly anticipated world tour, called "The Moonshine Jungle Tour".
You'll know of Bruno from his many hits such as Locked Out Of Heaven and When I Was Your Man, which both dominated the Billboard "Hot 100" Charts for the majority of 2013. It's been a big year for Bruno Mars, which is why (no surprise again!) there is unfortunately no tickets left for this concert either.
