Las Vegas, We Love You: 5 Of The Best Vegas Casino Resorts for March Madness

Better, happier months are fast approaching and the prospect of a trip full of March madness to the grown up wonderland that is Las Vegas is peeking its head over the horizon. So for those of you smart enough to have a Vegas trip marked into your diary in order to pep up your year, we've decided to do the legwork for you and figure out where's best to kick back and relax in the most fun way possible.

Here are the top five casino resorts for some Vegas March madness:

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino

If there's one casino resort in Las Vegas that happens to be renowned for its party-mad and hedonistic atmosphere then it has to be the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Built back in 1995 (basically a lifetime ago) and renovated most recently in 2010, it has evolved over time to become one of the most popular party venues in the U.S, no biggie!

Everything about this venue comes cut with a rock 'n' roll edge. 'The Who' bassist John Entwhistle tragically died in one of these very hotel rooms. Not to mention that the Joint rock club has played host to some of the world's biggest acts, among them: Paul McCartney and The Killers, to namedrop but a few. 'Vanity', their infamous night club has seen superstars such as Bob Sinclar and Sean “Diddy” Combs play some killer sets there. The Sunday pool party at Rehab is literally the stuff of legend, oh and have we mentioned the grotto pool with the waterslide? WATERSLIDE! Whenever the sliding and faux water gets to be a little much (cause that's bound to happen *ahem*), well, you're surrounded by endless activity possibilities anyway. This is a place to push partying to the absolute limit, trust us....

Encore at Wynn Las Vegas

Encore is connected to its sister venue, the Wynn Las Vegas and fear not, you're in good hands here, as the resort is owned by legendary casino magnate Steve Wynn.

It boasts an unholy trinity of party venues with the Encore Beach Club, the Surrender Night Club, and the XS Night Club all there to ensure that the party vibe never falters.

Encore Beach Club is spread over 50,000 square feet with three tiered pools surrounded by palm trees giving guests a first class setting in which to relax and enjoy some drinks alongside some top notch music. Surrender Night Club is a smaller venue that attracts world class superstar DJs like Calvin Harris, Afrojack, and Steve Aoki, among many, many others. XS Night Club similarly, has seen the music magician- Avicii work his magic and David Guetta held a residency, not to mention thousands of XS partygoers right in the palm of his hand, working things out up there on the decks. As for the Encore Theatre? Well if it's good enough for Beyonce and Garth Brooks.....

It’s a great place to get your game on and hey, if you win big, you may as well do it in Vegas. Or, if you’re too hungover/ just plain lazy, just do it online from the comfort of your hotel room (or suite, if you're bling enough). Just remember us when you win big, OK? Should you so wish to take a break from the casino, the world class nightlife and the party lifestyle, then the spa and fitness centre ensure that you're never short of things to do.

Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino

Built back in 1966, Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino has long since been one of the most iconic resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. By gaining famous fans like Frank Sinatra, Rod Stewart, and Jerry Seinfeld down through the years, it soon became reputed as one of the finest entertainment venues in the world, a rep, might we add, that it still holds firmly onto today.

The resort itself is packed full of top notch venues including The Colosseum at Caesars, Absinthe, The Pussycat Dolls Lounge, Omnia Night Club, and Cleopatra's Bar. If the mere thought of all that partying is making you peckish, then the huge selection of restaurants, among them: Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill, Nobu Restaurant, and Restaurant Guy Savoy, will satisfy even the hungriest of party animals.

And speaking of party animals, think three sensational pools (including an adults-only pool for adult like behaviour) and you have yourself the perfect backdrop for sun, alcohol, fun and moderate debauchery...

Flamingo: Las Vegas Hotel and Casino

At first glance, this might not seem like a resort for the lads, but as your Mother always said, never judge a book by its cover.

The Flamingo Las Vegas was first established in 1946 by gangster Bugsy Siegel and is one of the veterans of the Strip for a very good reason. It might have an appearance that appeals to a classic girly girl, but this resort knows what it's doing and has been a mainstay in Sin City for a reason.

The larger than life pool is the perfect place to party during the warmer months and then, for the sports fanatics among you all, there's the chance to play some kickass basketball, volleyball, or even bathe in the waterfall for some downtime, should you so wish. It is also conveniently situated right in the middle of the Strip, so you're in the thick of the action from the very beginning of your trip. Rooms in The Flamingo Las Vegas have a cool retro '70s theme, perfect for some Insta action. #wishyouwerehere

So now, the only question that remains is this, can you find anywhere cooler to kick back and enjoy some March madness than at the hotel of one of America's most notorious gangsters? Plus, it has actual live flamingoes prowling the gardens. Seriously!

The Palms Casino Resort

If there's one venue in Las Vegas that caters for everyone from every walk of life, then it has to be the Palms Casino Resort. Not only does it have everything you could possibly want from a party resort, it also has a little bit more. Take, for example, its two pools.

One pool for hardcore partying and then, the second pool for relaxation and down time. The party scene at the Palms Casino Resort is undoubtedly one of the most famed in Las Vegas and has continued to build upon that reputation ever since it opened its doors in 2001. The pool parties are the stuff of legend and the rooms are some of the most stylish on the Strip with large flat screen TVs and state-of-the-art sound systems (not to mention free Wi-Fi). As well as being accommodated in style, you can expect countless fun-packed night venues such as The Ghostbar, Moon, Ditch Friday's, and Rain Night Club, all of which have hosted the likes of Dr Dre, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Jay-Z, so you'll literally never, ever have an excuse for being sensible.

Have fun on your break and remember – what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!
