A New Twitter Hashtag Has Gone Viral And It's For All The Right Reasons

I'm not crying, you're crying!

Every now and again a Twitter hashtag comes along that's not a heartbreaking tragedy or terrifying.

On Thursday, the hashtag #LGBTbabes began trending on Twitter. LGBT people from around the world began sharing their selfies and celebrating life being out and proud, coming out online or showing solidarity. Twitter hasn't seen so much pride since Pride month or the Marriage Equality referendum.

The hashtag has now gone viral with over 75,000 comments. Celebrities and online stars have been coming out in their droves to celebrate life as an LGBTQIA person, and let's face it, being absolute babes. Even Barbs from Stranger Things had something to say about the hashtag:

The LGBTIA community is celebrating the hashtag for its the unification of everybody regardless of shape, religion, size or colour and its celebration of "self-love".
