Met Éireann Announce Weather Warning For The Weekend

It is evident to all that the weather gods are angry with us. I am not casting aspersions as to at whose feet the fault for this may lie - but it is you, you reading this now. They are for some unknown reason, due to whatever it is you have done, thunderingly livid. They are so incensed by your actions that they have decided to exact punishment on us all and they are doing this through the only means at their disposal - by sending us some pretty salty weather this weekend.

That's right, a low-grade storm is on its way and as a consequence Met √Čireann have issued a yellow weather warning for the entire country. There are two separate yellow weather wind warnings in place, one for Connaught and Munster and the other for Leinster and Cavan, Monagahan and Donegal.

The wind warning issued for Connaught and Munster comes into effect from tomorrow, Friday 9 November, at 04:00 and lasts until 15:00 on the same day. For Leinster and the remaining three counties the same wind warning has been issued for 08:00 and will last to 19:00 on the same day.

In conjunction with these, there has also been a yellow rainfall warning for Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, Galway, Mayo, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford with spot flooding possible.

All this is to say that tomorrow is set to be an utter hames of a day. The weather gods are angry, they require revenge, revenge that will specifically be exacted between the times stated above. Thankfully though it seems like the rest of the weekend is set to be grand for the majority of the country with only patchy showers at worst.
