Just like Kylie Jenner announced in 2016, 2017 was another year of realising stuff and it was as turbulent, heartbreaking and hilarious as 2016. In a year when Trump and North Korea threatened to go to war and Brexit doom was on everyone's minds, moments that brought people together were cherished. Here are the unforgettable moments that defined and got us through 2017:

In what became the facepalm moment of the year, acting legends Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway announced the wrong winner of Best Picture - a first in the 89 years of the Academy Awards.

After the tragic bombings that murdered 22 innocent civilians and injured hundreds more at an Ariana Grande concert nobody would blame Ariana for wanting to shy away from the public eye. Instead, the brave star went back to Manchester to host the One Love concert to raise money for the victim's families.

21. The Beginning Of The End For The Eighth Amendment

The Oireachtas committee, a group of TDs and Senators, recommended that the Eighth Amendment - the constitutional law that forbids women from terminating their pregnancies on Irish soul unless their health is at risk - should be repealed in favour of 14 to 2 votes.
