Students Line Up For New Luxury Dublin Housing

The Montrose Hotel, Stillorgan Road is set to open a new 22 million euro project for new student housing in September 2014. The residence will offer professionally managed, purpose-built accommodation for up to 192 students, with a high level of enquiries and bookings already received via www.ZigguratStudents.ie.

Montrose Student Residence offers a total of 192 en-suite bedroom units, arranged in a choice of five to eight bedroom flats each with communal living, kitchen and dining areas. The rooms will each feature a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with full bath rather than just a shower cubicle.

The Residence will also offer 24/7 security, on site management team and a call out service, meaning that students who lose their keys or lock themselves out can call to arrange access to the building and their room. There is also an on site laundry and car and bicycle parking spaces. Heating, lighting, water, broadband internet and contents insurance are all included in the room rental, which starts from €175 per week, based on a 43 week term.

Ruairí Quinn, T.D. Minister for Education visited the residence yesterday and said: “I’m acutely aware of the need for high quality student accommodation. We want to increase the number of international students who choose Ireland as a destination to further their studies and the City of Dublin also aims to enhance the reputation of the capital as a destination of choice for students across the country and the globe."

Sounds to us like this would be the greatest place ever to live if you were a student in Dublin next year, line up kids - this place is about to be the epicenter of College good times.
