BIC are launching their ‘Design on Fire’ competition in Ireland for the first time.
Whether you’re a fan of the complex and colourful or if simple and straightforward is more your thing, the BIC Design on Fire competition is calling on all Irish creative people to design their own BIC® lighter décor through the dedicated Facebook app and be in with a chance to win €5000.
The initiative, is open to designers throughout Europe and, following the highly successful #BICPICS competition which took place in Ireland in 2013, Irish designers are certainly expected to feature strongly in this design competition. It couldn’t be easier to enter, you simply log on to www.facebook.com/BICLighterLife from a MAC or PC and get designing your very own BIC® lighter decor! The competition will see three concepts chosen each week by a panel of renowned European designers over a six week period, leaving us with a total of 18 finalists.
Fans will then be able to vote for their favourite designs, resulting in one lucky winner, who will see their victorious design produced on 1 million BIC® lighters and sold throughout Europe as well as securing the €5,000 prize money.
€2,000 will also be up for grabs for the entrant who can come up with the best slogan based on this year’s theme: ‘from flame to flame.’
