Why You Should Never Get Back With An Ex

Relationships are a funny thing and no body will ever be able to tell me they have the perfect formula for one to work...the one thing I am 100% sure of though is that you should NEVER get back with an ex!

1. There was a reason you broke up in the first place

Absence makes the heart grow fonder but can mask the truth of the reasons of why your relationship came off the tracks in the first place. Make sure if you are getting back together you sort these out, by I'm not an agony aunt and this isn't about fixing relationships so that's all you get.

2. You will break up again

Ultimately, unless it was a mutual break up, if the reason to break up was strong enough to make you part ways then one side will always hold a grudge or feel like they owe the other something. If it was a mutual break up then what's the point in getting back together if you both thought you were better off apart.

3. It’s all too similar

What can you do to spice things up before it goes back to the way it was before. Seriously, I can't stress how much you shouldn't be getting back with an ex here.

4. Jealousy

"Were you with someone when we were apart?", "Would you tell me even if you were?"...just two of the questions you can expect to hear or expect the other to be thinking. Jealousy will be a whole lot more visible if you get back together.

5. You will have learned a thing or two about yourself

Becoming newly single is an eye opener to most after being in a relationship. You tend to take some "me" time, what you do in this time can really open your eyes and make going back into a familiar setting too claustrophobic.

6. One in 7 billion

The main reason for me for not going back would be that there are many more people on this planet and it hasn't worked with only one of them. GO FORTH AND EXPLORE...
