Irish People Go Into Meltdown As The Country Gets Battered With Heavy Rain

Looks like rain Ted.

You think we'd be well used to the bad weather by now, wouldn't you? It's hardly a news-worthy groundbreaking revelation, that rain pours in Ireland. Yet once again, the heavens have opened and the country has been brought its knees. As the country gets a battering, chaos continues to ensue. Extreme flooding, gridlock, road closures and the entire population going mental because they can't get where they're supposed to be. 'Eh sorry, I'm going to be about five hours late to work today.'

In the midst of bedlam, Irish people have hit up Twitter to share their experiences of today's madness.

Like the rest of us, people are losing the will to live.
