Only A Small Number Of Canadian Working Visas Are Left For 2017, So Act Fast

Canada is no doubt becoming the destination of choice for young Irish students as a result of a dopey fake-tan wearing, comb-overed President. However, there's actually been such a surge in popularity that there are only a small number of Canadian working visas left.

Every year 7,700 visas are given to young Irish people and according to the Canadian embassy, less than 500 spaces are left for 2017. According to VisaFirst.com, applications to head over to Canada have already overtaken the total amount from last year.

If you'd like to apply for a visa, you need to fill out an application and wait around 8 weeks for it to process. The program is open to Irish people aged 18-35 and allows you to live and work in Canada for up to two years.

It's not that simple though, as before you get your IEC visa you have to register your interest and then you'll get sent your golden invitation. If you get invited you only have 10 days to accept it, so you need to get on that pronto. As well as this, you need to get all your work permit documents in and of course pay immigration fees.

If you know anyone thinking of making the big move, tag them below so they don't miss out before it's too late.
