What's On Donald Trump's Spotify Playlist?

What's On Donald Trump's Spotify Playlist?

In the wake of 44th President of the United States Barack Obama releasing his favourite tracks of 2017 , it got  College Times staff thinking: What kind of music would 'The Donald' have on his Spotify playlist (presuming he has one).

He has in the past declared his love for Neil Young as well as The Rolling Stones while using such artists as Queen, Elton John and Twisted Sister on his campaign trail much to all of their chagrin.

But what would a Donald Trump playlist actually look like? Let's speculate.

Travie McCoy - Billionaire feat. Bruno Mars

Forbes has Donald's fortune at 3.1 billion dollars but he has been in financial difficulty before. I'm sure he would approve of the message in this song.

Nickelback - Rockstar

The epitome of dad rock, right down his alley.

Limp Bizkit - My Way

Brash, arrogant and popular with people who just don't know any better.

Pink Floyd - Another Brick In The Wall

Self-explanatory.

Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil

Used on the campaign trail, it's hard to know if Trump is in on the irony.

Elton John - Rocket Man

Trump had to remove this song from his campaign playlist and let's hope that the song is not a prophetic look at his increasingly dangerous relationship with North Korea's Kim Jong-Un.

Queen - I Want It All

Trump played "We Are The Champions" on his campaign trail but this effort would definitely be more suited to the business man's tastes.

Is That All There Is - Peggy Lee

Revealed as one of his favourite songs by The New York Times, the current POTUS had this to say of the song:

It’s a great song because I’ve had these tremendous successes and then I’m off to the next one. Because, it’s like, “Oh, is that all there is?” That’s a great song actually, that’s a very interesting song, especially sung by her, because she had such a troubled life.

Pitbull - I Know You Want Me

Trump definitely has a soft spot for Pitbull. After all they're both two chancers that seem to be incredibly successful despite no one admitting to liking them.

Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball

Again, do I need to say anything about this?

Bon Jovi - It's My Life

Trump has called Jon Bon Jovi 'a great guy' and this song would toe the line with his self-centred world view.

Michael Jackson - Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough

Trump attests to have been a close personal friend of the late singer and his first single from Off The Wall is certainly inkeeping with the New Yorker's outlook.

Aerosmith - Amazing

Another song to stroke his ego.

Here's the big man talking about his taste in music.
